Taylor Swift is not only a well-known country/pop artist, but it’s the nature and subject of her songs that have been the resonating force for fans. However, the singer had to put her feelings aside for her upcoming movie, “The Giver”.
E! News reports that the 24-year-old continues on her acting journey for the new film, which also stars Meryl Streep, Katie Holmes, Alexander Skarsgård and Jeff Bridges. The “22” singer admits that it was difficult for her to play someone without emotion, “To me emotion is such an important part of my life, and now I guess my job” she told “Entertainment Tonight”.
She admitted that, without emotion, she may not even be where she is in this industry, “People wouldn’t listen to my songs if they weren’t heartbroken, or deeply affected and hurt, and jilted and sad and bitter and all those wonderful things that I write songs about,” she confessed.
Swift also supports other heart-felt musicians, her and BFF Karlie Kloss attended an Ingrid Michaelson concert in NYC on Wednesday, showing off her infamous dance moves on stage with the model. Concertgoers didn’t pass up a chance to catch all the action in a series of Instagram photos, which show the duo having a blast together, rocking out in casual attire.
